APIA were wonderful with numerous claims this year through no fault of ours (it's just been an unfortunate year for us). Each claim, they were very sympathetic and incredibly prompt in responding. Our first car was sadly ridden off and we received settlement payout within the fortnight. The other car accident they were fast in arranging car repairs, free uber drivers to get us to and from the crash repairer, free rental car hire during period of repair. We were very impressed with the whole process. They kept in contact with us and sent online updates throughout the time. Thankyou for making our lives so much easier and less stressful!

Tried to apply for a job there. Typed in the password exactly & slowly keeping in mind upper & lower case etc but it still wouldn't accept it even though it had originally once changed. Gave up. Doesn't help the unemployed looking for work who have a ton of call centre experience. They refuse to use the Seek website for it which is way easier & quicker. Guess they won't be hiring applicants anytime soon. Suncorp & Apia need to re think this idea.

what a run around and i still have a damaged car

bad bad bad!!! the assessors bully you to settle what they want also isn't this insurance for old people? what happens when they hit a young persons car? this is what happens, apparently my car is already damage so they don't have to pay much for repairs that's what she said when she hit me. Then they get the wrong number and not try to contact me until i get frustrated and try to contact the other person that hit me. She then goes on to say that she and apia doesn't have to do anything until 2 weeks but she said she did me a favor by doing it 4-5 days later. Apia then goes to say that they can fix my car but no guarantee on the workmanship so if water leaks thru the boot tough bikkies due to previous repairers. That didn't sound right to me. So i rang the Ombudsman to check on a few things they said I'm in my rights to get it assessed elsewhere and don't be bullied by the assessors the things i had to go thru just to get my car back to get it assessed by someone else. So far my experience is horrible, how can you pay me out something you wouldn't guarantee yourself, and you want me to take it to a guy they knew for the same price but can't offer me the workmanship. but i can go there. I'm not sure if they even use that guy because he said it would be a home job as well. So I'm not happy I just wanted my car repaired. it's not my fault that they have to pay for my repairs isn't that why we pay for insurance or are you allowed to treat us whatever way you want because we need to make a claim. I'm not sure what's going on but I'm going to get legal action now.
