A G8 university and one that has a supposed global ranking which includes research. Well you'd think as an institution of repute you would have books on the SHELVES. Not so at Adelaide they have moved an extensive number to offsite storage. Add to this that they now require swipe card entry on weekends and fail to provide 24 hour access which is commonplace at other universities of far less standing just shows how clueless they actually are. Best part is I know many academics who are wondering the same thing as to why books are now stored offsite. Clearly this place is run by headless chickens failed academics who have gone into administration and know nothing about research, but then again that is why they are doing administration and not research.
One of the best libraries in the world.
Went here recently and feel that I experienced the past. The place was nice, have a lot history to tell and share, a good place to have a silent study. If you ever wonder the silent study hall, it is in level 2. Worth to see even just come, see and go.
