Suuuuper commercial, really expected more - not really an Art Gallery if it is mostly about the souvenirs.
Not really a museum, more of a tourist curios shop. There's a few forlorn paintings by Aboriginal artists, some movie on loop, and a very expensive shop.Disappointing.
Please be respectful that photography is not allowed. Great to see some diverse indigenous art and some incredible pieces for sale.Helpful staff. Just wish there was more of it!
Gallery is disappointing at best. Purchased an item from the gift shop which turned out to be faulty. Tandanya acknowledged the item was known to be faulty, offered a replacement but never sent it. Ignored emails following up to enquire where the replacement was, 4 months later the acting ceo finally responded and was unprofessional and disrespectful at best. They never sent the replacement despite the fact the supplier had credited them with it months ago. Had to deal with the supplier directly who thankfully was wonderful. Very poor representation of the indigenous community and quite embarrassing. Hope they can get it together and turn it around.
