Great building and great staff. Everyone knows that Australia Post closes at 5 pm and that staff can't control what items they don't have for sale etc. I always have a good experience here because you get treated how you treat people and if I go in tomorrow and a staff member doesn't treat me like Meagan Markle, that single experience is not going to define this post office.
You guys kidding me. They are just playing there. Staff extremely unhelpful and rude. They try not to do their duty and just send you to other offices. The worst post office ever. I haven't seen any post office like this before. Not sure they open it. Completely useless.
Cannot believe that you can't buy a postcard of Adelaide from the GPO in the dead centre of Adelaide. There are a few others to choose from, including 2018 Commonwealth Games from the Gold Coast in Qld... But not a single photo of Adelaide. Not even an apology, just "this is what they send us". Shame on you Aussie Post.
Kept me waiting first in line for almost 10 minutes! I was looking at posting something quick (1 small box) & get to work ASAP one morning. Usually OK at certain times. Why haven't they introduced the new DIY terminals at this major CBD PO? Salisbusy PO has them but it would be more ideal here.
Australia Post service is variable. Ask them for a postage stamp and you should be ok. Ask them to check your ID for an Australia Post debit card and they go blank, or look slightly worried and start to repeat the 'go away mantra' of 'We cannot provide financial advice'. If your service request is basic you'll probably be successful. If your service request requires thought then good luck, the outcome may not be assured.
