A must place to have a meal and a beer. Fantastic atmosphere with in and outdoor facilities. Food is great, wide variety for the whole family.

This was a lovely place with very pleasant outdoor seating. We had fish and chips which were fine but the mussels looked very good. The beer selection was a little limited but I can see that they only wanted to offer authentic beers for authenticity. I'll probably go back here for mussels in a few days.

This place has gone downhill from what it used to be. I received fantastic service in the past and we visited for the muscles. During our last two visits we were increasingly unimpressed with the service and food. On last visit we had a large gathering of people who ordered lunch. One of our table ordered a meal that was supposed to come with a beer. We later realised the beer hadn't been served. I subsequently informed a bar attendant that this had occurred. He told me that it happened too long ago (a couple of hours earlier, as we had been in the restaurant most of the day) and that it was too late now. He said we should have brought it up when we received the meals and he would do nothing. After insisting that I would speak to the manager, he spoke to his manager (was obviously told to give us the damn drink because why would you argue over a small beer anyway?!) and then returned to slam the beer down in front of me and exclaim "Here." It was as if the cost of the beer was coming directly out of his pocket. After our party spent hundreds of dollars on food and drink this staff member was appallingly rude over a drink that was not brought to us due to their own error. Won't be back again after such ridiculous behaviour.

First visit the bottle of table water tasted like seafood and had frothy bubbles in it. They replaced the bottle but not my glass so had to grab one myself. Second visit was next day, meals took about 1 hour to arrive and of the 4 meals ordered 2 were almost cold, if I say they were luke warm I am being generous. Disappointed

Not worthy of the name 'Belgian' beer cafe (Belgian here):No original glasses for our famous beersNo trained staffMussels and fries got served 15min apart Mussels cooked in wine taste like drinking a glass of wine with mussels swimming in itFries and mayo were not too bad Happy not to get to the dessert out of fear how they would fuk up a Belgian waffle.I genuinely feel sorry for people going there thinking this is Belgian standards, I'm sorry...
