Great hotel probably the best in Adelaide with excellent hotel service... but the food is a let down. Stayed here for 2 nights, breakfast is average However, dinner was disappointing, restaurant staff require more training, long wait in between orders and staff were not attentive to our needs. All the food came out bland, we ordered the lobster bisque, slipper lobster and lamb Wellington (the jus and the pastry tasted burnt, lamb needed more seasoning) pretty disappointed for our last dinner tonight, food at the Pullman down the road was much better.
Pure culinary bliss. This is 5 star dining at it's very finest. We had the steaks and they were sublime. Desserts, pictured below were divine. Wonderful service too.
Service was patchy, only one waiter showed true customer service.The food was enjoyable although the average wait time per course was approximately 20-25 minutes.Do try the lobster or the gnocchi as they are both delightful. However the dessert trolley is like a 1980's kick back served in glass ramekins like being at a 5 year olds birthday party.We did try the apricot torte and tiramisu but would not recommend them or the restaurant / hotel if you are after a quick meal.
