Hospital visits can be filled with trepidation and I was the in this position. Having said that, the doctors and staff were excellent and made the visit as good as it could be. There are always things that can be tweaked but for me, these were so minor that it does not detract from the experience. Thank you everyone!
Unless your in Maternity side. Forget it! Private Health? Dont think so. Food was disgraceful R.A.H does better by far. I was in for 3 days and they seem to put me where elderly people are dieing in the very old part of hosp. On arrival prepping for a major 5hr op i was put into a ward with all elderly men. I had no privacy to prep unpack in my own ward as I stated I wanted 2 weeks prior. I pay huge amounts for Private Health I expect good food and service as a patient. No nurses no service for ages. My blood pressure dropped immensely at 1 stage on day 2 and still no1 came, the nurse who finally came and did my ops was shocked ran off, cant remember much after that. Worst experiance Ive had in my life and they charged a fortune to my Health provider! Not acceptable. On top if that I got Goldenstaf!!
Fantastic place for employment as a nurse if you want to get bullied and harassed by management. This is a nation wide problem for Calvary. Get your act together and stop making bullies managers. Avoid the day surgery unit. Lucky I didnt slap a law safe work sa investigation on there asses.. And looking at previous comments maybe these accusations should be investigated.
