Home to the City of Adelaide Lions Club. Nice venue with good food and drink and friendly and efficient staff. Parking on-site at 10aud. I have no idea what it would be like to stay here but what I did see was good.
We had dinner there. Great views. Good service. Food average. Had a meal deal so not to bad for pricing but would have been disappointed if paying full price. Pub food for silver service pricing on mains as need to buy sides as well. Had pork belly main. Thin pieces and not that tender. End one dry. Hubbies steak was nice he said. My entree of dumplings was suppost to be steamed but came out wet so guess was boiled in water and not tender that steaming usually does. Had to wait long time for entree then mains when not that busy. Hate to see waiting times on a full house.
I thought that it was close to the Parklands train station, but it is not. Also the carpet in our room was a bit hot and miss. The bathroom had just been renovated and looked good but no bench space and the room we had had a lot of traffic noise. The staff we had dealing with were very helpful and courteous. Would I stay again.i don't think so.
We stayed here for two nights on a weekend away from Victoria. The room was lovely, the beds were comfy. Staff were attentive, we are very impressed.
Overall beds were decent. Bathroom was great. But ripped out dated carpets in the room was an eye sore. They tried covering with the beds but still noticeable. Location was decent pretty close to everything.
