Small rooms, hard beds and not many amenities.

Enforcing a reverse in legal burden is an absolute travesty. It is social and cultural regression, encouraging suspicion and pessimism. How can anyone, especially those without any legal training prove a negative? We are all INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY. The burden of proof is and always has been on the accuser.Who did you swear an oath to serve and protect exactly?

WE NEED A ROYAL COMMISSION INTO SAPOL.I lodged a complaint against multiple officers at Port Adelaide which included knowingly providing false information to the Magistrate in writing and altering official documents with liquid paper. Both of which are absolutely provable by SAPOLs own documents. After just three days, Chief Inspector Tim Curtis responded to say no further action and that this conduct did not breach the police code of conduct. To clarify... they did not say that there was insufficient evidence to support the claim, they stated that this behaviour is acceptable. Document fraud and Lying to a Magistrate is acceptable conduct by SAPOL standards. One must also question what degree of investigation took place in less than three days when it took SAPOL almost six months to provide the same documents to me under FOI and they continually amended their delivery date to coincide with immediately after each proposed state election date. If there is nothing to hide why would police not release the documents during an election. We must now acknowledge that senior police have an unacceptably high tolerance for corruption and misconduct. We must acknowledge that SAPOL are incapable of investigating and addressing corruption and misconduct. We must acknowledge that a criminal culture exists within SAPOL and senior police are incapable or unwilling to address it.In view of this, an external inquiry with the powers of a Royal Commission is the only option to remove the rot at all levels of SAPOL.

Neat, and clean head office for SAPOL. That hospital next door will block some office views of the hills for sure.

Up there with the Victorian police for corruption. The culture of incompetence is so bred in that they don't even realise they are shonky because they have normalised it.
