Under cooked squid. Could still smell the flour in the batter. Come on! For the prices and the size of the place you should be able to order food from any till, get your POS sorted out. Staff in the bar are polite, but its a job. lack of an atmosphere.
We know if you want a great steak that's cooked to perfection you go too the Lion . We were not disappointed. Great service from Charlotte with good food, wine and company makes a great lunch. We shared oysters followed by the 2 different steaks on the menu. Desserts were sensational. Fantastic day out.
Great upmarket pub with restaurant quality meals. Inside and outdoor dining. Food is reasonably priced at less than $30 for lunchtime main. Also has a great cafe and breakfast menu. I've been coming here for over 30 years and is is great to see the place reinventing itself. Plenty of street parking available, and off street parking is across the road.
Largest range of tap beer we could find in Adelaide. The pub has been renovated to a tasteful but modern standard. I enjoyed a few Strawberry Berliner Weisses while watching the cricket from one of their comfy booths. Plenty of room at this pub.
Atmosphere very pleasant. Great place to go to, to celebrate. Loved the live music. Menu and food serving very good. I did have a great night out.
