Awesome team, Awesome cars, Awesome prices.Kelly, Jack and Colin are amazing people. They make a very quick, easy and pleasant experience. Kelly went above and beyond to help us out over a busy time of the year. She is an absolute gem. A true asset to the team. They have a free shuttle to and from the airport, so no problems with the building being a few minutes away or a short walk if you prefer. I will definitely hire again with alpha. Service for car hire was as you would expect. No issues there. However totally shocked at the dishonesty of the staff. Left my camera in the cars centre console following drop off and was told that the staff member who cleaned the car did a thorough clean and there was nothing in the console. Really dissapointed that people still exist with such dishonesty and dont know how that person could live with themselves tossing away our holiday photos and using an item which someone else paid alot of money for. Wont be using alpha ever again.
Ten out of ten for these guys. Within minutes of us calling them from the airport, they were there to pick us up. They were the only hire company that would allow us to take their clean, new car on the ferry to Kangaroo Island and didn't complain when we were 4 hours late returning the car. And their rates were far lower than the big international hire companies. All in all, it was a pleasure dealing with them and we will definitely go back to them should we ever be in Adelaide again.
Alpha / Argus Car Hire was awesome! The staff were friendly efficient and out of their way helpful! They also assisted me in getting to airport quickly as i was running late! Much appreciated! They were also a very reasonable rate. I would highly recommend them!
I am really disappointed in this companies service. I booked a car for 5pm collection and my plane landed at 5.20pm. When I called them no-one was answering and there was no way for me to collect their car as they closed at 5.30pm. I booked another car for hire and asked them for a refund given no one was answering their phones and I couldn't make an alternative arrangement. They advised that it will be fine to get a refund and to organise it with Easy Cars who I booked with. Several emails later and back and forth and now they are saying that you won't get a refund for changing your mind. I am frustrated that I should have to pay $130 for something I didn't receive. I asked if I could hire the car for September and no one has offered me a solution. I highly recommend not using this company as they are not an honest and fair company to work with. I will be seeking advise from Consumer affairs if this issue is not resolved and don't appreciate being told that "This issue is now closed" when clearly no resolution has been offered.
