What a bargain our Thrifty car rental over the weekend was. We picked it up in the city and we were given an automatic upgrade. Everyone loves something for nothing!The car we got was a Mitsubishi SUV and it was flawless. It was just perfect for the 710 km we did over the weekend. Want good fuel economy? Then this is the car for you. With some city driving, but mostly country driving, we had just over 600 km from one tank.The price for all of this? Without fuel it was just $73 to pick up Friday lunch time and return Monday morning at the airport. Can't beat that!
